BIG QUESTION. I have a week to get a flat stomach! Help!?

I'm going to Holland in a week and I am having difficulty with my weight. I had anorexia about a year ago and I've physically recovered however I feel like i'm putting on weight that i've lost. I obviously am because my mum keeps bringing up how much weight i've put on and that i'm becoming a lot more 'chunky' than I was before. Its hurting my feelings and I don't want to talk to her about it because she's not one of those kind of mums. I generally eat pretty healthily. Breakfast I have porridge, yoghurt and fruit w/ green tea and g juice. Lunch I have a bowl of bran flakes with some fruit sugar and for dinner I'll have what my parents eat eg. fish, chicken, veg, pasta. I also drink water throughout the day. I run 4-5 times a week , 3 miles a day (only in the holidays) I do hockey and also dance. I'm quite muscular, have a bony neck/chest and pretty toned legs but I'm having a problem with my stomach, hips, and the bottom half of my back. Whilst in Holland i'm going to be swimming and so many people have told me how skinny I look and I still want them to think that. I have a little pooch and I HATE it , I also have some fat on my hips which I hate as well. Is there ANY way I can get a flat stomach by next week. I'm trying to not eat as much and am having a bowl of branflakes, juice and fruit every day and nothing else. Including running and 200 situps, punches, stretching and squats. Any other tips ? How much should I feed my cat?

I got my cat when she was already a young adult, and she has always been small. She's three years old and about 9 1/2 pounds. I give her hard cat food in the morning, then in the early evening she eats half a can (small can) of the canned food. Then later at night she gets more hard food, which usually lasts her until she gets more in the morning again. Basically, she gets as much hard food as she wants, and gets 1/2 can of the soft food everyday. Is that enough? She's not skinny and not fat. I can't see her ribs and she has a small fat pooch under her stomach, but not a really fat one. She seems healthy, but I know my dad feeds his cat a whole lot more. But his cat is also overweight.

I've done research, but none of the types I've looked at seem to match me. I'm not an ectomorph, but I'm not an endomorph either. I am small-boned; I have skinny wrists and ankles, small feet and hands, lean calves and a slender neck. I have a mostly straight figure, but I have the semblance of hips, so I have a very vaguely hourgl shape, but still mostly boyish in front, small chest and whatnot. Loneliness & Drama at home. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!?

I am going to try to make this short as possible. I am an 18 year old high school female, soon to be a graduate later on this month. My mother ped away about 8 months ago, she was the only parent in our lives (sister, brother and myself.) She was a single parent the whole, my sister and brother have father, but aren't consistent and I have never met my father at all in my life, so to lose my mother was extremly devestating. :'( Anyway, so my older brother and his girlfriend who are 4-5 years old than me and also my younger sister who is 5 years younger than me chose to stay all together in the house. My sister's dad chose to accompany us for a while until things went sour between him and my older brother. So my sister and her father don't live with us anymore. My brother and his girlfriend recently gave birth to my nephew who is 3 months. Their relationship has a huge reputation for having terrible problems. It's been off and on, mainly because the lack of care my brother seems to have about anything besides himself. :( Well yesterday, they seperated for good and she no longer lives with us. This is because she found a GREAT job for my brother on Craigslist, got an interview, bought him clothes for the actual interview and he was hired about a couple days later. The job paid $2,000/month! Which was great. But, he quit his job after two days because he didn't like the fact that the job paid every 30 days and not every week or every other week. She chose to left because he only looked out for himself knowing we need help with bills, food and everything. Times have become really hard. I am looking for a job, but at the time I get survial soical security benefits from my mother's ping. I help pay a couple of bills and any food we need. Now, that she gone, I'm not sure what to do. My brother has depended on her for everything, but I feel like he going to be bottom feeding off of me... driving him places, pay for this, pay for that, clean (which he doesn't do any of that). I was really close to his girlfriend and also my little nephew and now that they are both gone, the house just isn't a home anymore. I'm starting to slip into depression yet again. I'm stressed about school, now there are more worries at home. Why would he leave me with all of this? He still doesn't seem to care and doesn't even try to stand on his own feet, that's why she left him because she wants him to LEARN to do so... but I see no motivation. We have $11,000 in property taxes and it's impossible for us to pay it all, so the home I have known half of my life will be gone soon :( *sigh*, I just don't know what to do. All my brother does is invite friends over, smoke, drink, play video games. He is 22 years old. It doesn't even seem to phase him that his SON is no longer living with him nor his girlfriend. Our house in no longer a home and it's draining. So many things have gone wrong ever since my mother has ped and I always seem to be caught in the middle. PLEASE HELP!!!!

My mother who is of German decent makes sauerbraten from a very old ped down recipe. Using white vinegar and pickling spices and pickling for 5 days. The result is a very powerful concoction that's takes some getting used to. When I go to a German restaurant and order sauerbraten it is good but very mild. This is hard to answer because as a guy i truly understand how a guy can just be hanging out with a girl and not have any intentions of cheating, but i do not know this guy so i can not speak on his intentions. i will tell you this you must talk to him about how you feel, now before you do this you need to si t and think what it is that is really bothering you about this and i mean more then just hey shes your ex you should not hang with her. you need to tell him exactly how you feel, if you are afraid he will cheat tell him that but say it in a way that does not accuse him of being a cheater and don't say it in an angry way being angry or accusative will only make things worse. the main thing to remember is you two say your in love and love means being 100% open, true love means no secrets means no lies no hiding, because if you truly love someone no matter what they do or say you will still love them. another thing is that if you hold your emotions back they will not go away you can try to hide them but they will never go away and if you keep hiding them it will eventually build and destroy you and your feelings for him. you are not a baby for being open with your feelings in fact your are far more mature excepting you have these feelings and trying to face them and work them out with him. please be open with him, you cant be with someone you cant trust all you feelings to, the whole point of being with someone is so that you can have that connection and trust them with everything. i urge you to open up and tell him how you feel just do it in a calm well thought out way and do not act angry or accusative. i cant say how he will react but if he loves you he will understand and though he might be annoyed he will care more about making you feel happy then going somewhere with his ex.and if he can not accept your feelings and you feel like you have to hid your feelings maybe you should evaluate your relationship with him. i wish you the best of luck and if you have anything further to ask or need clarification on anything please ask.

My 24 month old weighs just over 21 pounds?

My daughter is the same. She was a very light eater and we took her to the Ped many times. Her pediatrician wasn't concerned as long as she was getting liquids in and recommended PediaSure. Even now at 3 years 4 months, she is only 29 pounds. She is active and happy and is learning everything very well, so we aren't concerned anymore. Its stressful, but if her Ped isnt concerned, then just take it as it goes.

It hurts to do crunches...?

I'm trying to lose a few pounds before I hit the beach (I'd very much like to wear a bikini this summer). I've been watching what I eat, how much I eat, drinking plenty of water, doing cardio, etc. But my main problem is my tummy. I have a little pooch, nothing serious; and a little bit on the sides. I do cardio, of course...but when I try and do crunches, it hurts my back and neck VERY badly. Sometimes, it even gives me a headache. Is there anything I can do to make doing crunches easier? Hi I feel alittle stupid for this but oh well: I am positive I'm pregnant ( but without the test) lmp was march 20th-22nd. It's my first month on a new bc which I started approximately march 25th. I went in an antibiotic from April 1-5. Starting Tuesday April 5 I started to notice my stomach stuck out more than usual and since that day Ive experienced a sore belly, tiredness, nausea, and my belly has a pooch now I kno it seems way to earlybut let me say this is.my 3rd pregnancy and I popped early with each one. Help with puppy and potty training at night...?

As soon as I brought my new puppy home (I did as recommended and took my older pooch to pick her out) she was instantly much farther along than anticipated. She has a distinctive bark and head movement she does when she needs to go outside to potty- thus far no accidents indoors :) She has a crate to sleep in that I've placed close to my bed. The first two nights she's made the sound, and I've woken up to take her out, then bring her back in and let her fall asleep nuzzling my hand. After 48 hours with a grand total of about 14 hours of sleep, I'm looking for another option. I can't keep waking up this often to take her outside. My friend suggested making a "tunnel" to a little box with a wee wee pad in it that she can use at night; something away from her bed, but confined so I don't have to keep waking up. As great as this sounds in theory, I'm afraid to try it because I don't want her to think she doesn't have to signal during the day... I'm planning on asking my vet in the morning, but until then, any ideas/suggestions/insight on what I should do tonight? Am I just being paranoid that she'll "forget" her potty movements all together? I know that puppies are not able to process complicated concepts like night and day without the help of their owner. Should I try the attached wee wee pad, or just suck it up and keep waking up every few hours... Thanks!

Looking to buy a house, how long should I wait?

There is a house for sale down the road from me. The owner of the house is a very good friend and offered to "tote the note" for me. This was 6 months ago, and he also wanted 3,000 down, which I didn't have, so I ped up the offer. Well, a month ago, the house hadn't sold, so I went back to the man and offered him 1,000 down and would put new windows in the house. Problem is, the DAY before I went back and offered him this, a man cane buy and offered to buy it. This was a month ago, the man has not bought it yet and the owner has not accepted my offer. How long should I wait before I just give up and find something else? It's a nice house. 4 bedroom, 2500 sq feet and 2 acres of land. He only wants 30,000 for all of it. But he's also selling HIS house which shares the land with the other house he owns and the other guy is wanting to buy both houses and all 25 acres. What should I do? Just be patient or is there some kind of contract I can make with the seller to prove to him that I'm serious? And is there something I can do about the time line and how long I plan on waiting to see if the other man's offer goes thru?

Is it ok to leave adult dog alone for 10 hours M-F ?

I am considering adopting a medium sized adult dog, but will have to leave him alone 9-10 hours a day. He'd been in a bedroom with a doggy door to the yard. Id exercise him a bit (maybe 15- 20 minutes) each morning, and spend time with him every night and on the weekends. Is 9-10 hours too long to leave an adult dog home alone? I've done some research and the responses are pretty mixed. Some say as long as you leave on the radio or leave him with stimulating toys/treats, he'll be alright for 10 hours alone. I mean, some days my stepmom might drop by the house during the afternoon, but for the most part the dog would be on his own M-F. I very much want to rescue a pooch but feel guilty about the hours hed spend alone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I moved them in myself with my uncles approval hoping for the best. But time went by and they began to show their true colors. My uncle told them they had 30 days to move out when he confronted them about them selling of their pills it was a verbal notice. she said she needed more time and its been more than 30 days and she is still there with no sign of looking to move out. I Decided to get a 30 day notice have my uncle sign it and give it to them asap. He will gladly sign it cause he does not care for them much. My question is whether i am in the right to kick them out whenever i or my uncle wants even though they pay the rent on time. Not the bills but the rent. Well my best friend is Lexie and her and I have been friends since the 8th grade, I was crying on the bus because I found out my first kiss cheated on me.. it was right before summer started.. so that summer we hung out and we just clicked. How can I lose 10lbs?

I have gone from 180 to about 130 in the past 2 years after having my daughter. I feel great! The only thing that is bugging me is the fat in the middle of my stomach (the pooch from pregnancy). Is there anything I can do that actually works? And don't say a tummy tuck won't do it. I know you can't target one specific part that's why I'm asking what the best method would be. And I would LOVE advice to come from anyone who is in this sort of profession. But anything will help thanks :)

Clutch will not engage?

i disconnected the clutch cable from the cover plate and pulled the drive sprocket cover off of my bike. A '94 vf 750 honda magna. After changing my front sprocket i put the cover on and reconneced the clutch cable. but now the clutch will not engage. I tried removing the cover again and attempted to manualy engage the clutch by poking around with the shaft that the clutch cable moves.. (i am now guessing the lifter rod?) Did i screw the pooch? thank you in advance.. AJ

Thinking of becoming a mark rep. Advice?

I'm looking around the mark website and through various internet sources for advice on becoming a mark rep. I don't have a job, but I'm not using this as a sole mean of income. Losing weight after baby and tummy fat?!?

So I had my baby boy over a year ago by c section I have lost a little weight but still have about 30 I would like to lose. Since I had a c section I have a little pooch lol and I hate it! I'm gonna start walking everyday and drink lots of water, if I start losing weight will my tummy go down or will I have to work that too? Will it get worse if I lose weight? It's not that bad. Okay so, again I'm trying to get a flatter stomach. I drink plenty of water. I eat pretty healthy. I have been doing sit ups for about 2 weeks and I go on walks. I've started doing bicycles, crunches, a lot of running in place, and squats. I don't weigh a whole lot, Im not very toned or anything though and I don't have a flat stomach. I am going to try to make this short as possible. I am an 18 year old high school female, soon to be a graduate later on this month. This is because she found a GREAT job for my brother on Craigslist, got an interview, bought him clothes for the actual interview and he was hired about a couple days later. The job paid $2,000/month! Which was great. But, he quit his job after two days because he didn't like the fact that the job paid every 30 days and not every week or every other week. She chose to left because he only looked out for himself knowing we need help with bills, food and everything. Times have become really hard. I am looking for a job, but at the time I get survial soical security benefits from my mother's ping. I help pay a couple of bills and any food we need. Now, that she gone, I'm not sure what to do. I think this ferret is sick, what should I do?

Someone I know asked me to watch her ferret for a week but I found out yesterday that she is in jail for a drug charge and is not likely to get out any time soon. If you are dedicated as you say you are I personal highly suggest P90X. Yes it does cost some money but with yard work for two or three weeks it can be done. You will achieve the results you want and more. But to get a six pack your way it is more then just eating right. Its what you eat, when you eat it,how much, and how much you are taking in. I want to get rid of my lower belly pooch, how can I get rid of it for good?

I'm 24, Female, about 115 lbs and I'm 5'2. I've been working on getting a flat stomach for about a year now and I can't get rid of my lower belly. I eat healthy, do cardio 4 days a week, and weight train usually 3 times a week. What else can I do to get rid of it for good??

She was a single parent the whole, my sister and brother have father, but aren't consistent and I have never met my father at all in my life, so to lose my mother was extremly devestating. :'( Anyway, so my older brother and his girlfriend who are 4-5 years old than me and also my younger sister who is 5 years younger than me chose to stay all together in the house. My sister's dad chose to accompany us for a while until things went sour between him and my older brother. So my sister and her father don't live with us anymore. My brother and his girlfriend recently gave birth to my nephew who is 3 months. Their relationship has a huge reputation for having terrible problems. It's been off and on, mainly because the lack of care my brother seems to have about anything besides himself. :( Well yesterday, they seperated for good and she no longer lives with us. This is because she found a GREAT job for my brother on Craigslist, got an interview, bought him clothes for the actual interview and he was hired about a couple days later. The job paid $2,000/month! Which was great. But, he quit his job after two days because he didn't like the fact that the job paid every 30 days and not every week or every other week. She chose to left because he only looked out for himself knowing we need help with bills, food and everything. Times have become really hard. I am looking for a job, but at the time I get survial soical security benefits from my mother's ping. I help pay a couple of bills and any food we need. Now, that she gone, I'm not sure what to do. My brother has depended on her for everything, but I feel like he going to be bottom feeding off of me... driving him places, pay for this, pay for that, clean (which he doesn't do any of that). I was really close to his girlfriend and also my little nephew and now that they are both gone, the house just isn't a home anymore. I'm starting to slip into depression yet again. I'm stressed about school, now there are more worries at home. Why would he leave me with all of this? He still doesn't seem to care and doesn't even try to stand on his own feet, that's why she left him because she wants him to LEARN to do so... but I see no motivation. We have $11,000 in property taxes and it's impossible for us to pay it all, so the home I have known half of my life will be gone soon :( *sigh*, I just don't know what to do. All my brother does is invite friends over, smoke, drink, play video games. He is 22 years old. It doesn't even seem to phase him that his SON is no longer living with him nor his girlfriend. Our house in no longer a home and it's draining. So many things have gone wrong ever since my mother has ped and I always seem to be caught in the middle. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Help! I think I saw a werewolf?

Okay it was late at night and I had let my dog out to take a pee,and as I was standing at the door waiting for her to finish,she suddenly tucked her tail between her legs and ran into the house.She went under the sofa and started whimpering.Now I live near the woods and I could see this large furry creature in the bushes.It was bigger than a great dane and it growled at me! It had big teeth and yellow eyes,but thats all I really saw because I screamed and slammed the door shut.I almost joined my pooch under the sofa, I was so scared.I don't think it was a complete full moon that night,but I could see nearly 3/4 of it.We don't have bears in our woods and it was much bigger than a regular dog.Could I have seen a werewolf?

Wow you are doing great just remember it took 9 months to put on this weight and it aint going to go away over night. Dont diet while feeding you will regret this, I tried to do a little dieting while feeding and lost all my milk in like a week. If you want to ramp up the calories pump as well as feed and store that milk. You can build your milk up simply by pumping 1 or 2 a day. Once your milk goes down it is hard to get it built back up. I did pump every time after I breastfeed to get my milk built up so I could store this will help you burn more calories. The best thing to do is exercise and eat right. The best workout I like is biggest loser cardio max it does work but I recommend switching it out with other routines so you will stick to it and not get board. But you are doing great girl dont get down, you should feel good about yourself your weight came off pretty good so far.

It is good to keep balanced diet and do exercises that you do. Nothing wrong with that. I guess they worried that you will go to extremes and get too obsessed with your weight and thus cause yourself more harm than good. Carry on doing what you do as long as you recognise time when to stop.
